Artifact case mount design
David Gilkey, an award-winning photographer who covered war and conflict all over the world, was killed alongside his Afghan translator while reporting near Marjah, Afghanistan, on June 5, 2016. The artifact and related information were designed to respectfully display personal items on loan from the Gilkey family. Detailed dimensional drawings provided dimensions of each objects, and guided our mount-maker on how the objects should appear.
